What professionals are saying...

The strength of this book is the variety of true-life stories that clearly illustrate the key points. Jim has a rich business background and he draws on it frequently.

Suanne Milligan, Attorney

This is a very readable book, clear and entertaining.
It is a real gift offering insights to those who want to improve themselves.

Rod Vendeveer, College Professor

Jim Painter is the success guru. His insight into what separates the highly successful from ordinary performers is unique and easy to understand.

Phil Michal, Veterinarian

Jim is a great speaker-and he writes as well as he speaks. This is not a religious book, but I still recommend it to my congregation. His insights into success are unique and his advice is priceless.

Glenn Brigman, Minister

Seldom does a book come along that is so readable and so on target. I have given copies to all my managers.

Elizabeth Martin, Director of Operations

Jim is an engineer but he doesn't write like one.
This is required reading for all my engineers.

Bud Arnold, Engineering Manager

The ESF formula is what I have been trying to teach my athletes over the years without knowing it. Too bad this book was not available ten years ago.

Introduction

Janet was a wonder! Just a few years out of college and she already had the characteristics that allowed her to make the sale of a lifetime.  She sold a multi-million contract between two giant corporations that made her a very young millionaire.  What were the characteristics that fueled Janet’s phenomenal success?  That is the subject of this book.  You will hear much more about Janet and those like her.

Why would anyone want to write another book on success?  The shelves of bookstores are overflowing with titles on this subject.  My reason is that I am an ardent student of success and I have a life-changing message for you!  Successful people fascinate me.  The question that always runs through my head, “Why do they have that others lack?”  Thirty years of observation and research have given me significant insight into this question.  I feel compelled to share this insight with anyone who wants a better life for themselves and their family.  And guess what – it isn’t that complicated.
