About the Author
Author and Poet Monda Raquel Webb lives in Rockville, Maryland. Currently, she works in Corporate America, sells real estate, has made several appearances on HGTV as a featured Realtor on the hit series Get It Sold and pursues her passion, writing, in her free time. Born in July, 1968, Monda began writing poetry and short stories before she was 10. Rotating between divorced parents, Monda attended schools in Florida, Arkansas, Maryland and Washington, DC, graduating in 1986 from Montgomery Blair HS in Silver Spring, MD. She attended the University of Rhode Island on a basketball scholarship and switched to track in 1987, where she held the school triple jump record of 40 feet for several years. She graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism in May, 1990. Monda is currently working on a book of short stories entitled, Red Clay Dirt and Mountains, and another poetry book entitled "No Apologies.
