About the Author

J. Paul Kousoulas is a retired Special Agent of the US Army CID, and Faculty Criminologist of Indiana University. He now consults as a Forensic Criminologist in Behavior Analysis. Interaction with children and young adults has played an important part in J. Paul's life. While "retired" in Florida, he was Director of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program for Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto Counties, and a Family Counselor for the highly respected Eckard Youth Alternatives Program. Living, working and traveling in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Far East enhanced J. Paul's appreciation for children and young and mature adults. In reality, the appreciation was the raising of six children. J. Paul developed and instructed upper level University courses in Criminal Behavior, Forensic Evidence, and Criminal Investigation and has written numerous articles and lectured on these subjects.
